Over 20 years ago, David Girard gazed upon the breathtaking landscape, rising 1,400 feet above the South Fork American River Valley, and saw not only natural beauty but immense potential. Nestled in the heart of California's Gold Country—just a mile from where gold was first discovered in 1848—David envisioned a vineyard estate that would produce exceptional wines.
We're located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, just outside of Placerville, California in El Dorado County.

The wines were tasty, the grounds were a secluded and attractive environment to taste and unwind, and our server, David, did a great job! Really enjoyed our relaxed tasting experience, and bought a couple of bottles, as well.

Beautiful, stunning venue!! I'm not a local by any means, but I've heard it's a hidden gem! That it is! I tasted some wines, and they were delicious! The reception area was very nice and the balcony was placed perfectly to get a view of the hills/mountains at sunset! The night of the wedding was a particularly beautiful sunset as well! Blessed to have been able to come to such a gorgeous place!

Had a private tasting with VIP members. Best experience of the wineries in the area! Definitely try the Grenache, & buy the Okei-San Syrah! We shipped a case of various reds home! Love the wines here!
